This warm and personal project was all about giving new life to a family apartment in Portimão. The client, recently returned to Portugal, wanted to reorganise and decorate the space using mostly existing pieces — many of which held sentimental or cultural value. Sustainability was a key consideration, so we focused on working with what they already had, blending in a few new elements only where truly needed.

We introduced a new sofa, TV unit, lighting, and textiles to complete the space, while showcasing the client’s beautiful collection of decorative plates — some of which they had made herself. A previously plain entryway column was transformed with traditional Portuguese tiles, and we designed a custom shelving unit to house her beloved book collection. The result is a space that feels both refreshed and meaningful — a true reflection of the client’s values and personality.
