This compact apartment was full of potential and reimagined to feel cosy, inviting, and gently whimsical - all while maintaining a level of neutrality suited to future resale.

The brief was to create a warm and characterful home that reflected the couple’s love for cottage-inspired interiors, subtle industrial touches, and slightly ethereal details, without overwhelming the space. Achieving this balance allowed the apartment to feel personal yet broadly appealing.

Working across the kitchen, bathroom, living and dining area, and main bedroom, the project was delivered on a considered budget. Essential plumbing works required the apartment to be fully re-piped, making the renovation both aesthetic and highly practical.

To preserve character while remaining cost-conscious, several pieces were sourced second-hand or thoughtfully upcycled, including a vintage bedroom dresser that now acts as a focal point within the space. Layered textures, moody accents, and fresh natural tones were combined to create depth while keeping the overall atmosphere soft and welcoming.

The result is a home with heart - comfortable for modern living, rich in personality, and designed with flexibility for the future.
