How can I order at Mar Interiors online?
To order at Mar Interiors online you just need an e-mail address and to choose your favourite products. You will need to login to your account ("Login"), if you are using a desktop browser can be found on the link on the upper right corner of the homepage or for mobile browsers, press the menu button and then it's the first button at the top of the list.
If you are not registered yet, you can create a new account clicking on "Login", at the top of the page, and then clicking on "Sign Up". Once you find the item(s) you want to purchase just press "add to cart" and once you are ready to order visit you cart using the basket icon at the top right corner of the page.
I'm having trouble making a purchase in the online shop. What can I do?
You can send an e-mail to email@example.com, explaining what is the problem, so we can help. We will reply as soon as possible.
Do I receive confirmation of my order by e-mail after payment?
An automatic e-mail with all information about your order (order number, product list and total value charged) will be sent to the e-mail address you registered on the purchase, minutes after making the purchase. If you do not receive this e-mail within one hour after having made the payment, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can verify if your order has been properly registered / paid or whether it will be necessary to make a new order. We will reply as soon as possible.
Can I change the products or the delivery address of my order after making the payment?
You can only change the products or the delivery address of your order until you finish your purchase. After this step, to know if it is possible to make any changes please contact us on email@example.com or call us on 282 111 207.
What are my options for delivery?
You may choose one of these options for delivery of your order:
- Home delivery: standard delivery (when your order leaves the shop, you will receive an e-mail with this information and you will also be contacted about the delivery date information);
- Local delivery within 35km of the shop (this delivery option is only available for customers within a 35km radius of Portimão). Once your order is confirmed, a customer advisor from Mar Interiors will be in contact to arrange a date & time slot for the delivery that suites you.
- Store delivery (you can choose to collect your order in the store; when the order is available for collection, you will receive an e-mail; you should present your invoice at the store in order to pick up your order).
*Deliveries take place within the time limits stipulated in the General Sales Terms and Conditions.
How much does Delivery cost?
Delivery starts from just 7€. The total price of delivery depends on the weight of the final weight of the order. Please see the table below for a better idea of costs.
We also offer local delivery for 5€ if the delivery address is within 20km of the shop or 8€ within 30km.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
The estimated delivery times are: 2 to 5 working days in Portugal Mainland only. For local delivery within 35km, this is generally delivered within 3 working days.
If I choose to collect the order in the shop, how long will I wait?
Click & collect orders are generally ready within 2 hours but please allow up to 24 hours (not including Sundays) for us to collect all your items together and have them ready for you.
Can I order for delivery outside of Portugal?
Our products are currently only available for sale in Portugal (Mainland).
Can I request to send my order as a gift?
Yes, it is possible to send your order as a Gift (the product list will be sent without the price information). You can also send a message to the person who will receive the gift, which will be delivered with the order. Please request as a gift in the 'add a note' section at check out.
What is the availability of products at Mar Interiors?
The fulfilment of orders placed on our online shop is subject to stock availability of the products. If the stock of a particular product is temporarily unavailable, or if the customer has made an order for a product that is sold out, Mar Interiors online will inform the customer by e-mail, stating the approximate date for replacement of the product. The customer can choose if he/she maintains the order or if he/she wants to cancel it instead.
The products are exactly as seen in the photographs?
The photographs presented in the online store are designed to represent each product in detail. You may encounter some differences in products that are unique pieces or in which the raw material or the manufacturing process influence the outcome, such as handmade products. Colours may also slightly differ from online vs in person.
Are my payments online secure?
Mar Interiors use Stripe payment system for all payments made on our website. The customer provides their card information, either online or in person. Those card details enter Stripe's payment gateway, which encrypts the data. Stripe sends that data to the acquirer, which is a bank that will process the transaction on the merchant's behalf. Stripe is accredited with the Better Business Bureau and maintains an A+ rating.

What payment methods can I use on Mar Interiors online?
The following payment methods are available: Visa Card/MasterCard, American Express or bank transfer through email request. If you choose to pay by credit/debit card, the transaction will be done directly on a secure page of the provider of electronic payment services. Mar Interiors is not responsible for any delay or non-delivery of orders from authorizations from the electronic payment services providers.
In what currency can I make the payment?
The prices of the online store are expressed in Euro (€) and it is in that currency that all orders are recorded and in which payments are made.
How can I see the invoice of my order?
You can access the invoice of your order at any time in your personal account, Menu "My Orders", viewing the order Details. The invoice will only be available after your order has been shipped or received at the store.
What can I do if I receive a damaged product in my order?
You can send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with the order number, the reference of the damaged product and a photograph of the packaging and the damaged item, so we can resolve the situation as soon as possible.
I’ve changed my mind and would like to return a product. How long do I have to do this?
It is possible to return a product for 30 days after you receive it, if you are not satisfied with it. We accept unused items, in their original packaging and with the respective labels. *Earrings cannot be returned for hygienic reasons.
To begin the return process, you must contact us, sending an e-mail to email@example.com, informing us about the products that are going to be returned. In this information, the following data must be included: Order Number; Product References; Amount of items to return per reference number; Reason of the return.
You can then return the products to:
Mar Interiors (Rua Alexandre Herculano, 33, R/C, Portimão, 8500-554), with the return document and the order invoice.
At the physical Store, presenting the return documents delivered with the order and the order invoice.
After the product has been received and the return process completed, Mar Interiors will refund you the purchase value (shipping costs are not refunded).
How do I receive the reimbursement of my return?
After the product has been received and the return process completed, the applicable refund will be made by the same method as that used to pay for the purchase (shipping costs will not be reimbursed), within 15 days. When the purchase was paid through bank transfer, the refund will also be made by bank transfer, whereby the client must indicate their IBAN for that purpose.
Is it possible to return a product that was offered to me?
It is possible to return a gift, but this return must be made by the person who purchased the product in the online store, following the steps for returning an item by change of mind. If the gift was bought in our shop and you have a valid gift receipt dated within 30 days, we will be happy to exchange your gift for the value of the item at the time of return.
